Our Client – A giant in the Real Estate Industry is searching to fill the role of Head of Sales.

POSITION SUMMARY
To oversee all Sales activities of the company towards increasing revenue and expanding the business. The role is expected to focus on generating new business, expanding company’s customer base and managing Sales team

POSITION LEVEL: SENIOR

SIZE OF ROLE: Revenue of up to N3billion (Annually)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Manage, develop, coach and motivate Sales team to ensure high professional standard, Sales target and KPIs are constantly achieved
·         Develop and implement periodic (monthly, quarterly & annual) sales plan focused on financial growth and customer satisfaction
·         Assist in the recruitment, interview and training of new sales staff to ensure adequate manning of team at all times
·         Support Sales team through weekly joint visitations, prospecting, site inspections and closing deals
·         Schedule and attend client meetings, ensuring that number of meetings meets target as set by management
·         Ensure required number of agents are raised to assist in the sale of company’s products
·         Monitor sales target and regularly review performance for reward and recognition
·         Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers of the company
·         Maximise networking opportunities and regularly use conferences, events and trade shows to promote the company, increase product awareness and generate leads
·         Have an in depth understanding of company’s products and ensure correct interpretation of offers and contract of sale
·         Maintain relevant knowledge of market and industry trends, competitors, and all aspects of the company’s market
·         Present sales report with realistic forecast to management as required
REQUIREMENT

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
·         First degree in business Admin, Social science or other relevant field
·         Master’s degree in Business Administration or a similar field
·         Minimum of 10 – 12yrs relevant work experience with at least 4yrs in management position
·         Relevant experience in similar organisation
·         Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies
·         Experience in product development and budgeting

Proven ability to meet and exceed Sales target, deadline and work under pressure

Ability to easily adjust in flexible work environment; overtime, travel, weekends, etc.

Ability to make decisions and use initiatives

Ability to lead and work as part of a team

Business Acumen and expert knowledge of industry

Excellent negotiation and communication skills (written & verbal)
