This position is responsible for leading QUALITY DEPPARTMENT team members to ensure that all
products are wholesome and meet specification and established standards of quality including reliability
and usability while ensuring the safest working environment possible.
- Document quality assurance policies, processes and procedures; interpret and implement quality assurance standards; periodically evaluate sampling procedures; and directions for recording and reporting quality data. Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality; document internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues; develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions; prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities and monitor risk management activities.
- Verification and/or maintenance of HACCP, SSOP, and prerequisite programs, plant environment and finished products. Collaborate with operations on the initiation of corrective action and preventive measures when necessary. Ensure adherence to food safety and quality requirements.
- HND or Degree in Food Science or related discipline with cognate experience in senior position in food industry is very essential.
