The French Section of Médecins Sans Frontières is recruiting for its project in Jahun:


Médecins Sans Frontières is a private, non-profit international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing medical assistance to populations in crisis, without discrimination and regardless of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. In Jahun, Jigawa State MSF F works with the MoH to in maternal and newborn health in the Jahun Government hospital and in some primary health care facilities.

MSF is presently seeking applicants for the Position of:


Job Description.

  • Providing nursing care, treatment and follow-up of patients, according to doctors’ prescriptions, protocols applied in service and universal hygiene standards/precautions, in order to ensure the quality and continuity of care for the targeted population.


  • Recognized nurse diploma essential.
  • 2 years of previous experience and previous experience in other NGOs desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience in supervising and training others in a team setting
  • Spoken and written English and Hausa


Closing Date:  12th December, 2018.

Work Location

  • Jahun, Jigawa (Nigeria).

Work Hours

  • Maximum of 208 hours per month. Availability for shifts up to 12 hours, night or day, and flexibility is required.
